1) How much do you charge?
I currently charge $100 per hour. If the event is more than 20 miles from Salem, OR a small fuel charge will be added. This is included automatically in the quote I give you.
If you hired me through a service such as Thumbtack or Gigsalad then the price quoted through those services may be higher because additional fee's are incurred when using these services.
2) What does the price include?
I provide everything that I need. This includes the balloons, menus, tables, and etc. that I feel I need for your event. If you think I need anything additional to help the event run smoother please feel free to discuss it with me and we can work something out.
Also, the price includes a special pre-made balloon for one guest of honor upon request. A good example of this would be a Minnie Mouse balloon for a birthday girl having a Minnie Mouse themed party.
3) What method of payment do you accept?
I accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, Discover Card, American Express, company checks, Venmo, and electronic invoicing. Sorry, no personal checks.
4) When is payment due?
Payment is due in full right before the event takes place. I usually show up ten minutes early to an event. This gives me time to setup and collect payment. Please be ready to pay me at this time. Thank you.
5) Can you send me a W-9, invoice, or proof of insurance?
Yes. The best way is to provide me with an e-mail address and I can easily send you these documents.
6) Do you carry liability insurance?
Yes. Insurance is sometimes required by bigger corporations. However, in over 13 years of entertaining I have never seen or heard of anyone getting hurt as a result of receiving one of my balloon creations. Just in case though I warn parents with toddlers and small children that it is possible to choke on balloon fragments.
7) How many balloons does the price include? Or, is everyone guaranteed a balloon?
I charge by the hour. This means that I twist as many balloons for as many guests as I can during the time that I am hired. I'm pretty fast but I can't make balloons for 300 guests in 1 hour. A good rule of thumb is 2 simple balloons per minute. If you hire me for two hours and have 30 guests your going to get some really cool balloon creations. If your hire me for one hour and have 100 guests your going to get my simplest designs. If you hire me for one hour and have 125 guests, not everyone will get a balloon. Please call and ask me if you have more questions about this.
8) Can you make me an *adult* or (R) rated balloon?
NO. I am a family friendly entertainer at all times so you never have to fear that I may do something inappropriate or embarrass you or your guests.
